Hundreds of powerful US “bunker-buster” bombs are being shipped from California to the British island of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean in preparation for a possible attack on Iran.
The Sunday Herald can reveal that the US government signed a contract in January to transport 10 ammunition containers to the island. According to a cargo manifest from the US navy, this included 387 “Blu” bombs used for blasting hardened or underground structures.

Contract details for the shipment to Diego Garcia were posted on an international tenders’ website by the US navy.
A shipping company based in Florida, Superior Maritime Services, will be paid $699,500 to carry many thousands of military items from Concord, California, to Diego Garcia.
Crucially, the cargo includes 195 smart, guided, Blu-110 bombs and 192 massive 2000lb Blu-117 bombs.

If one word of this were true our entire military chain of command above the level of sergeant (including the imman-in-chief himself) would have to be replaced.
I don't know what is going on here but it ain't what it says it is.

Probably a broker or “forwarding” company. There are hundreds of these in the US.
These are most likley for closing up caves in A-Stan,,,

This is a very public warning to Iran. The specifics only partial descriptions which would lead the goofballs to wonder just what else is in the shipments.

I’m sure this was a strategic “Leak”. It stands to reason, that it wasn’t the Zero’s idea.
If it was Zero’s idea it won’t work, if it wasn’t his idea it will work.

Have to wonder if it’s not just a ploy to apply pressure with an implied threat.
So just for the sake of argument, the Iranians decide to do...what exactly? Sink this container ship? Which one, when, by what means. Have one of their proxies do it for them?
I would think that this sort of military hardware is not shipped commercial, but transported by US Navy ships. So there is no real problem here except that the Iraninas get the idea that we are doing a build-up of arms for a strike on hardened targets.
Frankly, I would be willing to bet that the material has already been delivered by the time news of the contract is leaked if it went commercial.
A thermobaric weapon would be a better choice to take out
who ever is in a cave and then these could be used to
close them...
Besides, their is an amazing tendency for fascism to lead to war. Wilson, FDR, TR, Hitler, Mussolini, etc. all gloried in war. War enables enormous expansion of govt. power.
More disinfo, or a serious threat to Iran?
I'm frankly curious if this has something more to do with some danger in behind the scenes ~China/USA~ ...than with anything having anything remotely to do with the sanctity & safety of Israel.... but I'm very suspicious of any "news" presumably having to do with Iran/Israel/Dagan.

Why would Britain have to agree? The U.S. signed a 99 year lease in the early 70’s. I was there with the Seabees in 1973 when we built this place.
I find it interesting that back then they knew there would be a need for this base in the future. At the time we couldn’t have a fleet in the Indian Ocean for lack of communications. The first thing we built was the communications station and one hell of a runway. Now it’s an air force base.
Lance, Diego Garcia is 7 degrees below the equator in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Hot as hell!
Recall all those recent headlines about nuclear disarmament and reducting nuclear weapons stockpiles?????
