This should not be an “either-or”, BOTH sides of the equation should be deleted. Timmy out AND Obama impeached.
Though impeachment has proven to be a notoriously ineffective way of removing a chief executive.

Tim Geithner must be fired by The President. If he refuses, then following the election in November, when I fully expect that Republicans will re-take both the House and Senate, impeachment proceedings must be brought against President Obama for his willful and intentional refusal to remove the person who this paper makes clear could have put a stop to the collapse for nearly six months and yet failed to do so. Is this Denninger writing? If so, he should first acknowledge how stupid he was for endorsing Obama. He is surprisingly child-like about what the Republicans should be doing if they do manage to take Congress. Obama may yet be impeached. But making a case in the House for impeachment because of failing to fire Geithner, and then taking it to the Senate, would just look stupid. See if you can find some of his real impeachable offenses first, or better yet, hold hearings on his eligibility.

How about both? I could go for both.

Very thorough, interesting article. One question, though, why make it an "or" choice? Cannot we both fire Timmy
and impeach Obastard?

As much as I'd LOVE to see this Marxist usurper stripped of power and run out of office, not firing Timmy isn't going to do it.

I won't be surprised to find out that the entire economic collapse in fall of 2008 wasn't an engineered crisis by the DNC and other left wing power brokers that got out of control, or maybe didn't get out of control?

Correction, Timmy must be fired, SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HIRED IN THE FIRST PLACE, therefore, for this and many other reason Obama must be impeached.

How about both? Works for me. I really do think he will be impeached before he finishes this term. He is out of control.
