More on this wonderful ‘public servant’
From 2003 until she was suspended in December 2008, Henderson was the Boston area port director for the Department of Homeland Security. She was responsible for overseeing all of the international ports of entry in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island, including Logan International Airport, T.F. Green International Airport in Rhode Island and Bradley International Airport in Connecticut.
In a related affidavit filed in December 2008, it was alleged that Henderson employed three illegal aliens in her home while she was the Boston area port director.
It was further alleged that another customs and border protection officer had warned Henderson in 2006 that one of the illegal aliens was unlawfully in the United States and that Henderson should not continue to employ her.
According to that affidavit, Henderson ignored the officers warning and continued to employ the illegal alien for much of the following two years. The affidavit also alleges that in May, one of the illegal aliens agreed to cooperate with investigators of the Office of Professional Responsibility at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Allegedly, while cooperating, the illegal alien told Henderson that she was present in the country unlawfully. Henderson was surreptitiously recorded telling the illegal alien, you have to be careful cause they will deport you. Be careful.
Henderson was also allegedly recorded advising the illegal alien, if you leave they wont let you back . . . you cant leave, dont leave . . . cause once you leave you will never be back.
Bush's fault? Seems to be. Of course she was probably an extension of the Bush border security policy.
