What bill? WHat freakin bill are they talking about? I truly despise this administration. Hate him, them !!!!
Ummmm..., it's the Congress that has to vote on the bill, not the Administration, although the Administration is definitely pushing it.
But, the fact of the matter is -- if it passes, it's the House that is doing it. And the House is comprised of Representatives from a whole lot of smaller segments of our own states, that each of us live in. They're our own representatives who are doing this.
I would say, overall, that it's the make-up of the voting population of this country which is "doing this" more than anything else. It's like another FReeper post which was pointing out about Obama -- that it's not Obama that is the problem, it's the voters who put him there that is the problem. And if you get rid of Obama, you've still got those very same voters who will be voting in the next election, too...
The real problem here, in this country is not our representatives or the Administration -- the real problem is the voting public.
I would direct that "despising" to your neighbors that you see around you...

I absolutely agree with your assessment, Star Traveler. We would not have to be dealing with Obama at all(he would still be smoking dope and Community Organizing his way through Chicago)if it were not for Levin’s vengeful “drones” who went brain dead in the last election, and thought they weren’t going to have to make car payments anymore if they put The One in office.
And these “drones” are our family members, our neighbors, not my friends but maybe yours. We have them to thank: the uninformed, American Idol electorate. Unfortunately, their votes count the same as ours...

What you are saying is that if a guy buys a gun and kills a family, it is the seller of the gun who is the blame. Same as you said in your little analogy, we can take down the ‘killer’ but we still have the “’gun sellers’ out there and we will just have to wait for it to happen again.
Get your mind off of blaming the voters and rather concentrate on how to make EVERY Representative be:
1. Representative to the US Constitution
2. Reprensentive of the People SECOND!!!!
3. Party Lines LAST!!!!
While ever you have those thee requirements switched, the people will always be screwed.
Lastly, what proof do any of us have the zero is even an American Citizen? Who do we blame for that?
