The United States wants to give Israel money and Israel wants the aid. And frankly, for Israel it isn't a question of cash - it's loan guarantees, fuel, and spare parts for military hardware. Whoever decided to make the announcement while the VP was there dropped the ball - it was an embarrassing diplomatic blunder that shouldn't have happened, and wouldn't have if the decision was made at a higher level.

Why do you believe that housing construction starts should be decided at a national level? Perhaps that should be done here in America first, just to check and see how effective it’ll be.
