FreedomWorks has agreed to host the 2010 Tax Day Tea Party for Washington, DC. On Tax Day, April 15th, hundreds of thousands of Americans will protest big government around the country. They will protest in big cities and small towns, from Los Angeles, California to Burlington, North Carolina. FreedomWorks will be hosting the DC Tax Day Tea Party, at The Washington Monument, in view of the White House.
LOL!, well, the two other guys I drove to DC with for 9/12 are ready to join you on 4/15, so you're not alone.
There may come a time to storm the Capital Building, but this ain't it yet IMO.
If the House "passes" HC without a vote, then it is time.
I was there too 9/12. Wish I could make this, but 9/12 was my travel budget for the year. There is a local tea party rally that day that I will be attending. Know that those who are there are representing for those of us who can’t be there.
It isn’t going to pass without a vote, the Teaparties, and the resulting widespread public support has seen to that.
The Slaughter talk is all bluff.
I know, it’s expensive to travel over 2,000 miles. We drove straight though, and only had Hotel for the eve of 9/12 and the eve following, but still it was a lot.
That’s why I’m still not sure about 4/15.
This thread died within days of its posting.
I thought it would come back to life after the HC monstrosity slithered through Congress.
Still nothing.
So...
BTTT
The thread isn’t what’s as important as the showing of tea partiers next april.
I’m confident it’ll be huge.
Thanks for the bump though
