The photograph that you see below is our ice-cream-sccop that sits in the kitchen drawer and is still in use to this day.

What is so special about an ice cream scoop so that I would actually photograph it and post it on the internet?:

It was obtained by Mrs. EGS in 1960 using S & H green stamps. You can see that the years have aged it by the worn, pink, plastic paint that has worn off. It is made of hard aluminum. Otherwise, it is as good as new. It is just a good example of the quality of American products back in "those" days. The days and the quality have long-since passed.
