Here is a translation of "
Eres tu". It won the 1973 Eurovision song contest.
Like a promise, you are, you are
Like a summer morning
Like a smile, you are, you are
Like that, like that, you are
All my hope, you are, you are
Like fresh rain in my hands
Like a strong breeze, you are, you are
Like that, like that, you are
[Chorus]
You are like the water of my source
(Something like that, you are)
You are like the fire of my home
You are like the fire of my bonfire
You are like the wheat of my bread
You are
Like a poem, you are, you are
Like a guitar in the night
My whole horizon, you are, you are
Like that, like that, you are
[Chorus]
It was a hit in 1974 during my meteoric rise at KING in Seattle, soon to be suceeded by my meteoric fall. But I was young and foolish then.

Aloha Night Owl!
I'll be in Kona this weekend at a Tea Party and another party of sorts. Not taking any socks since the leeward side is sunny and warm......Hmmmm...on second thought I'll pack a pair of socks and take my umbrella too. You can never be too sure about the weather these days.

Great memories...another one I haven't heard in years (I'm guessing it was a 1965 hit), Bobby Goldsboro's "Little Things."
I once read he was the guitarist on Roy Orbison's "Pretty Woman."
"Little Things" firms that up, in my mind.

Getting to see the pictures....that is a really different looking plane. It looks kinda like an insect with the thing out front. Thanks.

Oh boy...a Tea Party. Let everyone know how much we support our military and want our government back. If you pack socks and an umbrella, you will be prepared and maybe not need either. If you don’t take them, you know......

The Three Suns hit the jackpot with this tune in 1944. They changed their configuraton a number of times in the Fifties, and during this period, they recorded “I’m in a Dancing Mood”, which may be the definitive recording of this standard.

Q: Why is Ben Franklin smirking on the $100 bill?
A: Because he was the one Founder smart enough not to get elected president -- and he knew it.
