Romney fans, please don't shoot the messenger.
Mitt Romney's book has debuted at #1 atop the NY Times best-seller list among non-fiction hardcover books. However, the NY Times also provides some additional information that may explain how Romney's book hit the #1 spot.
Whenever the NY Times places a "dagger" symbol next to a book, it signifies that "some bookstores report[ed] receiving bulk orders" for the book.
The NY Times placed not just one, but two, daggers next to Romney's book. You can draw your own conclusion as to who it was that purchased Governor Romney's book in bulk.
By contrast, the NY Times failed to place the "dagger" symbol next to Governor Palin's book in any of the weeks she held the top position on the NY Times best-seller list among non-fiction hardcover books. Despite the left's unsubstantiated theories, bookstores did not report to the NY Times that they received bulk orders for Going Rogue. See week 1, week 2, week 3, week 4, week 5, and week 6. As you can see, in none of these weeks is there a dagger symbol next to her book.
Once again, I'm just reporting what I found from the NY Times. Don't shoot the messenger.
WE SHOUTED THIS TRUTH BEFORE ANY OTHER PLACE ON THE WEB! EVERYTHING ABOUT mitt IS FAKE!
LLS
And yet, you're behaving like one. Preening and pretending not to know.
So be it. Doesn’t surprise me though.
Mitt RomneyCARE: Just buy my book
and ignore what we have done.
Now go back to your bananas.
How is it that you are willing to make all these posts but wouldn’t just answer post 39, you seem to have something that you want to share about Mitt Romney but you seem afraid to let it out. Open up, speak.
Your Romney trolling is not very good, I will say that for you. This isn’t your first run around the bases is it?
Yup. Slick Willard reminds me of the lizard people from “V”, they all have purty exteriors masking their true identity.
Are you unable to understand? Open your eyes that you may see, and your ears that you may hear.
It means that there are bulk sales, which means they might not be indicative of actual interest. That’s why they put the mark there. However, it doesn’t mean the book isn’t selling, it just means we have to watch over time to see what happens.
On the other hand, according to a typical report, “He reportedly attracted more than 1,000 people to a book signing in Naples, Fla. last night.”.
Doesn’t mean the book is popular, but unless Romney has learned how to clone people, it does appear that a few people are interested enough to show up to buy the book.
Well, you’ve got a point there. :)
I give up, you are a child.
Where can you find the list of number of books sold? I’ve seen it reported, but never been able to find the numbers online.
But as I understand it, the books are very different. I haven’t read either yet, but Palins is supposed to me more biographical, where Romneys is more platform/policy oriented. I suspect they will be some crossover appeal for both, but they are different. TIme will tell.
What I was asking was what was your previous sign up name?
Something that you have made clear during your short time here, is how much you dislike freerepublic and freepers, you started with that from almost your very first post.
This is a forum for conservatives, not Romney wankers.
“If there is anyone here who doesn’t understand why we cannot support a slick socialist politician like Mitt Romney, God help you, but you’re on the wrong website. We went through this with the abortionist, gay rights activist, illegal alien supporting, gun grabbing Rudy Giuliani until someone created another website call WAnkers for Rudy and they all flew the coop. Hopefully, before too much FReeper blood is shed, someone will create a WAnkers for Romney site and we can be left to fight the good fight as we see fit!
FR is not for everyone!

Romney's book was written by his ghostwriter.
Had to do that because Romney had previously taken the other side of the issues.
How Romney is THAT?
As Gov of Massachusetts, Romney managed to raise taxes on New Hampshire residents.
How Romney is that?
That’s a smiley face (turn your head sideways and you will see the eyes and the mouth. More common use includes a dot.
In high-tech medium, the characters are translated into actual smiley-face symbols.
:), :-) — Smiles
:<, :-( — Sad
:-O — Surprise
Started in the usenet world. It’s not a “young girl” thing, it’s an old computer geek thing.
See what an - --- / - - - / - - -
that "pig with lipstick" Mitt RomneyCARE is?
Thank you, now translate it’s meaning in post 42.
