What it came down to basically, he believes that she was in a damned if you do; damned if you don't situation, and that just as many people would have turned on her for refusing as have for helping. I think that Palin is doing nothing more than supporting an incumbent. I believe that it's standard practice for politicians to campaign for incumbents in a primary (I'm sure there are exceptions, though). She shouldn't be condemned for doing this.

Agreed.
The problem these kind of people have is they vastly overestimate themselves.
They think their credibility is so great they can dump a load of manure like this article, and people will immediately scramble onto their pitiful little wagon.
