I shut down after that when I heard that song for the first time. That song gave me the creeps. But I knew it was popular even to this day. The big happy Global Citizen anthem.

I think I was only like thirteen when it came out. I didn't pay attention to the words until I got in my twenties. This is how they work...they get popular artists to brainwash the kids.

They actually played 'Imagine' during the 1976 4th of July celebration fireworks extravaganza in Boston (mega-barf!!!)...
Sure was refreshing to celebrate the 4th in Tennessee with the loudspeakers blaring the 'Star Spangled Banner' and 'America the Beautiful'...
