US President Barack Obama has joked that half of the 40,000 letters that pour into the White House each day brand him an "idiot''.
Tongue-in-cheek, the President remarked that his staff did not spare him the wrath of his correspondents - selecting a representative portion of 10 letters for him to read when he returns to the White House residence at night.
"I will tell you, that my staff is very even-handed, because about half of these letters call me an idiot!'' Mr Obama said overnight, chuckling at his own joke during a rally in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Fox inaccurately reporting State Board of Education action
AUSTIN – The Fox Network in recent days has repeatedly broadcast highly inaccurate information about the State Board of Education’s efforts to adopt the new social studies curriculum standards.
Here are the facts. The direct quotes come from the March 10 broadcast of Fox & Friends.
Fox: “Texas board of education begins hearings today on proposed changes to textbooks…”
The truth: The State Board of Education today is expected to take a preliminary vote on updated social studies curriculum standards. The standards detail what teachers are to teach in each class. New social studies textbooks are not scheduled to be selected until 2011.

If half the people brand him an idiot, the the other half don’t know what they’re talking about.
I have to wonder if they’re really giving him a representative sample of what is coming in. They may split it 50/50 to read to him. It could be coming in much more skewed.
He’s not an idiot. He knows darn well what he’s doing. Destroying America, brick by brick. The People had better catch on and quick.

There are so many more appropriate words for him than ‘idiot.’ If people truly do call him an ‘idiot’ he should consider himself lucky.
So does this mean that 1/2 do not think he’s an idiot? I find that amazing. I figured only about 25% would consider him a non-idiot.

The “other half” might be letters of support from illegal aliens, probably written illegibly, or in some other language. People from O’s Kenyan homeland has expressed great pride in his transformation into a U.S. President.
Who (besides O’s closest friends, such as domestic terrorist Bill Ayres) would ever have thought a Chgo. ACORN community organizer (THUG) would quickly be catapulted to POTUS!
And of that 25%, how many can actually write?
Half of the letters brand him an idiot, and the other half are FROM idiots. It all adds up.
I think he is undercounting the letters by quite a bit....I’ve sent him a couple myself...LOL

I think he should have just kept his mouf shut on this little piece of info, but, of course, he has to find a way to appear self-depreciating. What an idiot, indeed!!!
