I live in the NYS's 29th Congressional District.
We don't have a Congress Critter at the moment, and so far our governor has shown no inclination to call a special election. We won't have representation in the House for an upcoming vote on Obamacare.
We aren't the only district without a voice. The late Rep. Murtha's district doesn't have a representative yet, and possibly other districts are without a Critter as well.
Hundreds of thousands of people will be left voiceless, without a say in the vote on Obamacare. A vote that will change our nation and our lives.
We need help to make certain that any vote on Obamacare is delayed until every district has representation. If folks in other districts could call their Reps and ask for a delay in the vote, it might help.
What I can't condone is having a vote while 2 million people lack representation.
Good gad, this bill will transform our nation. How in Hades can any pol support holding a vote with 4 House seats vacant?
It is worth calling your tank-dweller congressman. If for no other reason than to insist the staffer take your name and address and let them know you’ll fight hard against the congressman’s reelection.
BTTT.
