Meanwhile, White House firm on March 18 vote. Dems are short of votes. White House says that if this doesn't pass before Easter recess, bill is dead. We'll see.
Would this be the first—or the 21st—time BHO has set a deadline “to get this done?”
To Obama: You lie!
Christmas was a deadline. Now Easter/Good Friday is a deadline. What’s the Obamaone’s agenda here?
To ruin everybody’s holiday?
His agenda is to destroy this country and he is doing a good job of it.
My bet is that they will pass it AFTER the fall elections.
No Deal. Im beginning to believe this may be dead. Not completely there but feel better today. Next battle, immigration. Geez
One good thing about ruining everybody’s Christian holiday- since it’s during the holidays, people who work for a living don’t have to use Vacation time to go to Tea Parties and talk to their Congressmen in Washington.
I do not believe this. I believe if the bill cannot pass the House, Obama will simply sign the Senate one and dare anyone to stop him.
Seriously.
Don’t see Obama trying to push this much past Easter....by that point elections are getting closer and gears need to switch to the economy so it looks like they are doing something.
If they do, there will be a repeal and states themselves will immunize themselves.
Check out drudge. He has a list of previous Obama Care “endgame” stories from last year; all with links.
There generally isn’t a lot of session time between elections and a new Congress being seated.
That must be setting off fear and panic inside the WH. If the members go home for Eater Recess and are confronted by Tea Parties it’s over.
Eater = Easter. Time to spring for a new keyboard.
It’s only an Eater Recess when Ed Rendell is involved.

This issue arises every 20 years or so. It will never die.
Priorities:
1. Massive protest against BO today in St. Louis. Anyone who can go, go.
2. Call your reps 202-224-3121. ALL of them. Beg your relatives and friends to call.
3. As to lame duck session, assuming the GOP makes huge gains, it is unlikely that the RATS will pass anything on their way out the door. Even getting the House to pass the Senate bill would not be possible without abortion restrictions, which would then need a new round of 60 votes in the Senate — an impossibility. Remember: the 2012 campaign begins on November 3, 2010. There are a slew of Democratic senators up in 2012 who will be terrified to have BO at the top of the ticket. Passing HCR would only make matters worse.
