A person born blind can never become an airline pilot unless his sight is restored. The rights of the passengers to a safe flight trumpt the right of of the blind person to pursue the profession of his choice.
By the same token, the rights of children to as normal as possible of an upbringing ought to trumpt the right of gays to raise children. A turkey baster is not a father.

And a judge can’t be blind either. Needs to be able to size up witnesses’ body language ... oh wait. Some judges are blind.

I doubt that a person’s eyesight who was born blind could be restored just as much as person’s hearing cold be restored who is deaf due to nerve damage. My daughter is deaf in her left ear, because the nerve was damaged when she suffered from Meningitis as an infant
