Brain fart. He has ‘em every now and then - who doesn’t?

Yeah, it threw me when Beck said that.

It’s the Fox directive...on Special Report last night Krauthammer, A.B. Stoddard, and (to a lesser extent) Bill Kristol denounced Wilders as a demagogue.

Fair, balanced, and possibly corrupted by Arab money.

He didn't call Geert a fascist.

He made a statement, however erroneously, that Europe is moving from the center to the right and left and that (implicitly) at the far right and the far left are dangerous forces in Europe (fascism and communism, respectively).

Geert actually isn't that conservative and Beck most certainly didn't call him a fascist.

That said, Beck needs to be very careful not to leave the wrong impression when discussing fascism in Europe.

Did he know what Krauthammer was going to say? (He takes fascist umbrage with Wilders as well.)

Does Glenn need to do more of his own research? Does Charles? They are reading the wrong synopisis of Wilders' position. And even if right position; then making wrong conclusions.

Sad. . .expect better; and not getting it. Worse; these folks have a lot of people forming their first opinion of Geert Wilders; as many are not at all familiar with his history/story and so cannot know his great courage.

Nor have they watched 'Fitna' - the movie.

(Casting the Islamo-pleasing-capitulating UK as 'exemplary' in their action denying Wilders entry into Country was as painful as it was horrible!)

Beck has a new habit it seems: talk up freedom and the constitution then lash out at pro-freedom champions if they start to become a threat to the establishment.

He is a pied piper, be careful.

My first question is, does he know something we don’t? If he does, he should clue us in. I’ve always considered Wilders a voice of reason in an otherwise crazy part of the world.

Beck has no coherent belief system that would give his ideas a sense of consistency. Maybe he fried his brain with alcohol, or maybe he’s just an opportunist who has jumped on the conservative bandwagon. I finally wrote him off after the shabby way he treated Lord Monckton when he interviewed him.

Don’t get to watch Glenn Beck.

Now am glad I don’t. Too bad about Glenn and Fox on this issue.

Saudi money controlling Fox?

Didn’t realize that is a possibility til now.

How can Geert Wilders get before the American / European public more powerfully?

It certainly won’t be through being on Fox.

His overall point was that Europe is heading back to their class roots. He was saying that unlike America they don’t value Freedom due to their history. They are more of a Monarch society that has become either communist or fascist and he doesn’t want us to move in that direction.

The Tea Patriots have to move back to the Founders and that was his overall point. Its not about individuals its about changing our direction from communism.

Pray for America

Beck is either playing devil's advocate or he's taken on a hit man persona.

Beck definitely has some faults. He’s not perfect, but he is still pretty darn good though I don’t always agree with him. His show last week about his grandfathers chair and how he used that as a metaphor for America was really good.

He reminds me of some of my outstanding teachers in school over the years. The ones that stick in your mind 30 years after you have graduated from high school or college. He would have made a great high school teacher. No doubt in my mind. His use of props and metaphors on a daily basis combined with his chalkboard really bring to light a lot of the issues.

This guy from Holland is on target and says it like it is. These jerks that condemn his warnings are the equivalent of the so-called leaders who appeased Hitler for years. As far as Beck goes.......he seems more wacky everyday.

Beck’s wrong on this one. Geert Wilders and others like him are the only hope for Europe.
