Personally, I like a national ID card that will allow people to work and to vote. No card? No work, no vote.

I understand that it has echoes of a Police State and Revelation, but I think this still would be a good thing.

I suggest then, that you remove yourself to Europe, where such things are already done. This is all about tracking and documenting your every move, and is completely anti-freedom and anti-American.

What’s your feeling on voter identification?

I would take this opportunity to politely disagree.

We don't need a card. We need people at the voting booths, law enforcement and employers to do the right thing. Any honest effort to stop criminals and illegal voters should not take my rights away.

The same argument applies to guns and gun control.

"It's the nub of solving the immigration dilemma politically speaking," Mr. Schumer said in an interview. The card, he said, would directly answer concerns that after legislation is signed, another wave of illegal immigrants would arrive. "If you say they can't get a job when they come here, you'll stop it."

Slime-bag Schumer was instrumental in the 1986 Amnesty. He also assured Americans then - concerned about "another wave of" illegals - that with "employee sanctions" in that bill "you'll stop it."

After Schumer 1986 Amnesty legalized 2.5 million, we now have 12-20 million more illegals and the slime-bag is again selling his @#$% with assurances he knows are false.

"What’s your feeling on voter identification?"

Very much in favor of it. But that is a STATE responsibility, not the Federal Gov't, which is the key difference.

Part of the plan. Instead of closing the borders, we give every illegal nut job in the world open access. Then the sheepie start complaining and we get a national ID.

ID cards will have chip or bar code. We are nothing more tan pets now. "Here, fluffy. Fetch Uncle Sammy some more money, Fluffy."

If people realized that the IRS is going to run health care, not HHS, they'd freak and need t visit the ER which Obama doesnt want us pets to do.
