Before you rag too hard on South Carolina, remember who their other Senator is—Jim Demint. Also, I was there when Graham ran and won in 2002 and he ran as a conservative, with a conservative record (remember, he was one of the House managers for the Clinton impeachment). He didn’t get booted in 2008 because no big-name conservative ran against him in the primary. There’s a very good chance that he’s dead meat in ‘14.

If there were any doubts over supporting J. D. Hayworth, this should dispel all of them. We’re stuck with ‘Lil Ms. Lindsey until 2014 and need to put the fear of God into him. The best way to do that is defeat McLame in the primary and elect J. D.
