So basically Flip is saying that if the conservatives do well in taking back Congress, he will run to try to return the GOP to RINOism.

What a beautiful reply with such beautiful pictures!!!

Reagan's "fundamental beliefs" have sure been abandoned in CA even by people who continue to describe themselves as conservatives.

Going into the Recall we even had a decent party platform that survived till until Pete Wilson's Hollywood action hero Schwartzenrenegger promptly flushed it down the provervial toilet.

Even too many FReepers joined in! It's astonishing!! I'll never forget it!!!

We need candidates with statesmanship, not showmanship!!!

I know such a position is anathema here on FR, but I don’t share the suspicion of Romney many others possess.

My two favorites in the primary season were Fred T. and Mitt. Fred didn’t seem to have a fire in the belly, and Mitt couldn’t close the sale.

We were stuck with a McCain, who was arguably a weaker candidate than even Bob Dole in 1996. Hell, the only reason he got as big a vote as he did was because he had the good sense to choose Sarah Palin as a running mate.

Romney’s in your head, not mine. That is evident by the creative keywords you post as well as your obsession with any post concerning him. Do you have the keywords posted by your copy of “Rules for Radicals”? Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals seems to be where you got your tactics, are you a disciple?

Jim Robinson included as you seem to want keep him aware of posts related to your brilliant commentary.

“You guys can’t be that stupid ..??”

Well, they obviously are, unless you want to accept they are deliberately trying to damage this site as well as the conservative cause they claim to support. Their conduct, IMA, is harmful to this site, disrectful to other posters, and shows they have little concern for the site created by Jim Robinson or the factors that have made it a success.

I agree with you on the importance of opposing health care but I don’t think we can do much, at this point, to change the outcome. On the other hand I don’t expect it to pass, if they couldn’t do in six month I doubt they can do it this close to the primaries. The voters clearly oppose it and I don’t think many are going to plunge into a tar pit, believe this is just noise.. course I could be wrong.

The elections, and combating voter fraud, should be the focus. at this time. A decisive rebuke of the Democrats will stop their efforts to control health care for another fifteen years. No significant penalty to the Democrats mean the issue will be back, like a freight train. If the Republicans actually solve the problems plaguing health care the Democrats effort to control health care will be dead for the foreseeable future.

“This petty stuff about Romney is not even on the radar .. and yet that seems to be all people can do”

Couldn’t agree with you more, if this amount of time and energy had been devoted to supporting candidates, then perhaps the current political conditions would note exist and Gov. Romney would not be a central figure.

I was just defending you on another post, Mr. Horry.

How unreasonable of you. I don't have that book. Quote your favorite part, please.

"

That is not the first threat by Mr. Horry (or other's of
Mr. Romney robots) threatening FReerepublic, is it?

The fact is that Mr. Romney worked against Gov. Palin and the others
in the GOP to throw Election 2008 to Obama.

Mr. Romney also supported Obama.

Mr. Romney was weighed and found wanting,
and what was left of his courage as he became indecisive to further test the winds.

RESULTS – Feb. 2010 Early Freerepublic.com straw vote FOR GOP PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION
Governor Palin was the overwhelming choice of freepers who voted!

Palin - 102 votes - THE WINNER
None Of The Above - 12 votes

Jeb Bush - 2 votes
Liz Cheney - 2 votes
Mitch Daniels - 2 votes
Newt Gingrich - 2 votes

No Votes for Mitt RomneyCARE or Ron Paul or Huckabee .... 0 votes (none, zed, nada, doughnut, oh-no) “

I agree...absolutely NO OBAMACARE.

The very fact that so many Americans are against it will give us a viable tool to campaign against Romney by using Romneycare. We don't need Obamacare to freakin' PASS in order to do that.

I just hope and pray we can get a real, electable conservative on the 2012 ticket.
