No, not all of them. Rep. Michele Bachmann said that Stupak was fighting hard against the bill because it includes abortion.

Yes, it will, and SOME of the are smart enough to know that, especially if enough people call the 9 in the Opening Post, particularly their constituents.

I’m talking about the 9 mentioned in the OP, but it counts more if you are a constituent.
It wouldn’t hurt to call them, even if you are not a constituent, but please be sure to call your own congresscritter.
Tedisco is a good man, who didn’t run such a good campaign, but he didn’t lose by that much.
It didn’t help that some people were calling him RINO, because he was not “perfect” in their eyes. Some use the word RINO too loosely. One poster even called Duncan Hunter a RINO. lol

the problem is that a year ago, he left people with the impression that he was running in 2010. And now he isn’t. So anyone who would have run, has been blocked from the race.
Choices for Jim were:
A. Run and run to win.
B. Let it be known clearly that he is not running.
He chose neither option.
The Taxes go into Effect immediately, like this year !
The benefits don't kick in until 2014 !

all that will happen is 10 democrats who are in the biggest danger of losing their seats this November will now vote no,10 who are not will now vote yes.
It is a question of which ones will change their votes.
My rat voted yes last time, but is probably going to lose in November. He is now reporting that he will vote no.
Someone will have to take his place so he can stand a shot at re-election.
It’s a game that the only ones who really lose are the American People.
if somebody wanted to run for this seat NY20, they had to start a year ago.
Keep calling him and get your friends to call. Pelosi doesn’t have enough votes or there would have been a vote by now.

Stupak is wavering. But they don’t need Stupak or his gang of 12 if there are easier votes among the 40 extras.
