It is increasingly clear that the leak of the internal emails and documents of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia in November has done for the climate change debate what the Pentagon Papers did for the Vietnam war debate 40 years agochanged the narrative decisively. Additional revelations of unethical behavior, errors, and serial exaggeration in climate science are rolling out on an almost daily basis, and there is good reason to expect more.
The U.N.s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), hitherto the gold standard in climate science, is under fire for shoddy work and facing calls for a serious shakeup. The U.S. Climate Action Partnership, the self-serving coalition of environmentalists and big business hoping to create a carbon cartel, is falling apart in the wake of the collapse of any prospect of enacting cap and trade in Congress. Meanwhile, the climate campaigns fallback plan to have the EPA regulate greenhouse gas emissions through the cumbersome Clean Air Act is generating bipartisan opposition. The British mediaeven the left-leaning, climate alarmists of the Guardian and BBCare turning on the climate campaign with a vengeance. The somnolent American media, which have done as poor a job reporting about climate change as they did on John Edwards, have largely averted their gaze from the inconvenient meltdown of the climate campaign, but the rock solid edifice in the newsrooms is cracking. Al Gore was conspicuously missing in action before surfacing with a long article in the New York Times on February 28, reiterating his familiar parade of horribles: The sea level will rise! Monster storms! Climate refugees in the hundreds of millions! Political chaos the world over!

I look forward to seeing these self centered anti human race zealots following the current of the whirlpool.
IPCC does shoddy work? No peer review? What, the peers were shoddy too?
Is there NO honor among thieves any more?
If you are going to be a scam artist, at least be a good one.
Five times the cost of the Manhattan Project ( Money spent to support Climate Research - AGW )
Worse, is the nature of the “peers”. Close-knit groups of like-thinkers, reviewing an approving each others work, while censoring any heterodox views.
Great link!
Don’t miss the last paragraph of this great article:
“The lingering question is whether the collapse of the climate campaign is also a sign of a broader collapse in public enthusiasm for environmentalism in general. Ted Nordhaus and Michael Shellenberger, two of the more thoughtful and independent-minded figures in the environmental movement, have been warning their green friends that the public has reached the point of apocalypse fatigue. Theyve been met with denunciations from the climate campaign enforcers for their heresy. The climate campaign has no idea that it is on the cusp of becoming as ludicrous and forlorn as the World -Esperanto Association.”
Told ya you’d get a laugh outa that pic!
I think the way to turn this climate change retreat into a disorganized rout is to keep suggesting that criminal charges are appropriate and will eventually be filed against those not able to distance themselves from the fraud.
Already, some of those individuals who contributed to the IPCC report are backing away, trying to disavow their relationships with those central to the scandals, and to otherwise insulate themselves from the possibility of criminal sanctions.
What we want to achieve is the Biblical proverb, that “The wicked flee, when no man pursueth.” Because if it is between their careers and loyalty to Al Gore and his co-conspirators, they will ditch Al in a heartbeat.
Excellent article and summary. Thanks for the post.
great pic of that scam/fraud artist.
Our side should stop using the climate change phrase and use the “man made global warming” phrase. We’ve had climate change on this planet since day one. It’s the “man made climate change” that’s BS.
That is going to be a classic!
Thanks for pointing out the article...
Had to hurry as my daughter was bringing teenagers down for a visit to the Beach and we were getting together on a tight schedule...
