Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show: makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!
New Palin scandal: Leno might have piped in some laughter for her jokes ^ | March 6, 2010 | RonDog (and FRiends)

Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show:
makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!

(An "after action" report from FReepers who were actually in the studio audience.)
In perhaps the worst possible development for the radical left since the discovery of Karl Rove's now infamous "Weather Machine," Governor Palin's recently exposed top secret "laugh track" machine appears to also have even more dastardly powers than were originally feared.

In addition to altering the space-time continuum, and reprogramming the master computers at NBC – to cause laughter during Sarah's monologue to appear where none had been before, and send well-intentioned jeers and "groans" from her wannabe stalkers into the abyss – this mysterious device apparently also exerts some kind of irresistible mind control powers over the loyal fans of "American Idol" megastar Adam Lambert, causing many of them to actually like the producer of the upcoming new "Alaska Valley Days" TV series, Governor Sarah Palin.

Or, at least, that's what the Kos Kids would like you to believe.

Many of those wacky ultra-left "conspiracy-mongers" who post at such online cesspools as the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance during for last week's taping of "Day Two" of Jay Leno's return to the traditional 11:35 pm time slot for the "Tonight Show."

Since I was actually in the studio audience last week when Governor Palin made her "comedy debut" – with a small band of "Palin palm print"-bearing FReepers (and FRiends) who had crashed the party with the intention of acting as "Ed McMahon" to Sarah's "Johnny Carson" – I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.

In my not so humble opinion, however, the REAL "back story" behind last week's studio audience, which has naturally NOT been covered in the "State-Controlled Media" – was that a huge percentage of that relatively "pro-Palin" audience last week were "glamberts"– that is, hard core fans of "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, whom many music lovers view as a contemporary reincarnation of Elvis. (Or, perhaps Liberace.)

In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange – and very unexpected (to me) twist – on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin!

I am particularly interested in hearing on this thread from ADAM LAMBERT FANS who support Sarah Palin, but I would also like to hear from CONSERVATIVES who may have reservations about welcoming this new group of Palin supporters, many of whom have been NOT previously been engaged (or informed) in the political arena.

Personally, I like the concept of "My tent, my rules."

That is, we welcome the electoral support of just about ANYBODY – but only on OUR terms. I believe that the conservative political movement should be like America itself: everyone is welcome here – IF you agree to certain fundamental, non-negotiable principles.

Please post YOUR comments and opinions about Sarah Palin and the "glamberts" here.

Thank you,
RonDog

THIS GAL -- and her 100+ similarly-attired "glambert" friends in the studio audience last week -- were MY first experience wth Adam Lambert.

From www.adamofficial.com:

StaceyAG:

OMG! I came home late last night from the Tonight Show with Jay Leno! Adam was unbelievable! And the band!

I have much to tell...

...I met and saw the woman who plays Kate on Days of our Lives Soap Opera.

she had blue streak in her hair and black nail polish with a snake necklace,

she is like the rest of us!

It was like being at the midnight showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show."
I didn't expect them to be pro-Palin. :o)

You missed one .. but LOL .. I can’t remember his name .. only that he’s a great gun rights advocate, and he has been on Hannity several times; but I believe he used to have a rock band (or he still does have a rock band) ..?? Sorry, don’t follow rock bands.

You are so correct .. the media did nothing but bad mouth Sarah .. and I believe this “hollywood” tour is to let people see the real person.

It’s also: NAME RECOGNITION

It worked for the huckster!

Guess what? Gov. Palin has made it this far in life without your “advice.”

I know of many die-hard conservatives who are Adam Lambert fans.

He may be a super-swisher but he’s talented.

As I am now discovering.

What I'm wondering is the REVERSE:

How many Adam Lambert fans are conservatives?
Many of the hard core "glamberts" that I had talked to in the line waiting to get inside were non-political, or slightly anti-Palin.

One gal with spiky black, blue-streaked hair, black nails, tatoos and multiple piercings, for example, when asked her opinion about Governor Palin, answered me with distain:

"Isn't she the one who is so stupid that she never finished high school?"

I went to Adam lambert’s Fantasy Springs Resort ( in Indio CA)last week. The place was packed with people of all ages. I had lots of chances to talk to people. Many of them were men and women in their 40-60’s who talked openly about being conservative; many support Palin and hoped she would run.
But they were there because they love Adam. He reminds them of Elvis or Robert Plante from Led Zeppelin or Freddie Mercury from Queen etc.etc.
Adam is very flamboyant...but this boy can sing.

The one behind the Laugh Track story is Michael Stinson a left wing activist.

Sarah Palin Had Help From Jay Leno Laugh Track, Says Audience Member

"..Michael Stinson is not a Sarah Palin fan. The lefty activist and founder of takebackthemedia.com expressed his distaste for the Thrilla from Wasilla with a parody of Palin's ghostwritten autobiography called "Going Rouge: The Sarah Palin Rogue Coloring & Activity Book.".."

NBC Claims Sarah Palin Needed No Laugh Track

"..“Neither the audio nor the laughs were enhanced for Sarah Palin’s segments on The Tonight Show,” NBC said in a statement..."

I was talking to a friend who was a committed Palin supporter also......I hear the same thing.....I find it hard to believe she has a plan to run for another office of any kind.....Her actions of late are kind of putting the fire out I myself once felt for her as a political figure.....And seeing McCain being interviewed by everyone with his sheepish I love liberty hypocrisy immediately brings Sarah and her support of him to mind......

Please don't equate Reagan's "using" the benign-by-comparison "pop culture" of his time with today's pop culture cesspool which Sarah is having fun tip-toeing through today.

That's funny given your motto is: “Do unto liberals as they do unto us, POW!”

The Tonight Show/Leno Show is a cultural cesspool.

You’re trying way too hard.

Lambert looks like a hybrid of Elvis and Liberace doing an impersonation of William Shatner appearing as a rock star on Star Trek.

Thanks for the post. I really appreciate all your time & effort on this.

Sorry you guys couldn’t meet the Guv.

As we often say, for those who miss attending our local events, for WHATEVER reason:
There's ALWAYS a "next" time!
And, NEXT time, Governor Palin will discover that the L.A. Chapter "knows how to treat a lady" -- in particular one who is strongly polarizing, and requires significant security when she meets her supporters -- to prevent disruptors from interfering with her.

See, for example THIS classic L.A. Chapter encounter:

NEW photos!
ANN COULTER joins the U.S. Marines
[and L.A. FReepers] at party after "Late, Late Show"
We had arranged for last week -- just in case, and will ALWAYS have available, in the future -- a safe, secure, easily-defended facility where she could meet with us, share what we have in common -- and compare "palm prints" -- like THIS ONE, from FReeper MaryFromMichigan:

Her actions of late are kind of putting the fire out I myself once felt for her as a political figure

As much as I love Sarah (and I'm still driving around with a Palin bumper sticker - I cut McCain's name off) - as much as I love her, and had high hopes for her to be our first woman president - it pains me to say that I share your feelings.

I'm happy that she is a great voice for the conservative way of thought, and that she can reach an audience that normally wouldn't hear it - but these are not the things she should be doing if she is planning on running in 2012. She needs to get serious and establish her credibility on very serious issues.

I wouldn't blame her if she's decided not to run & that she can do a lot of good work immersing herself in popular culture. I lost a lot of enthusiasm when she decided to endorse McCain - I will say it again - SHE OWES HIM NOTHING! I am still looking for a leader that will buck the establishment, and so far - I'm not seeing it from her.

GOD bless her, I wish her lots of success, but now I'm back where I was before - looking around for a leader to take us out of the wilderness - I see no one in sight.

Palin has not acted against any meaningful conservative principle.

Perhaps you should take a good hard look at what motivates your political thinking.

the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance Works for me.

If she does run for President in 2012 I'm predicting an enormous number of cars with her bumper sticker on them to be vandalized.
