Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show: makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!
New Palin scandal: Leno might have piped in some laughter for her jokes ^ | March 6, 2010 | RonDog (and FRiends)

Sarah Palin's secret "laugh track" machine at Jay Leno show:
makes Adam Lambert fans like her, too!

(An "after action" report from FReepers who were actually in the studio audience.)
In perhaps the worst possible development for the radical left since the discovery of Karl Rove's now infamous "Weather Machine," Governor Palin's recently exposed top secret "laugh track" machine appears to also have even more dastardly powers than were originally feared.

In addition to altering the space-time continuum, and reprogramming the master computers at NBC – to cause laughter during Sarah's monologue to appear where none had been before, and send well-intentioned jeers and "groans" from her wannabe stalkers into the abyss – this mysterious device apparently also exerts some kind of irresistible mind control powers over the loyal fans of "American Idol" megastar Adam Lambert, causing many of them to actually like the producer of the upcoming new "Alaska Valley Days" TV series, Governor Sarah Palin.

Or, at least, that's what the Kos Kids would like you to believe.

Many of those wacky ultra-left "conspiracy-mongers" who post at such online cesspools as the Daily Kos, Huffpo and DU have been foaming at the mouth all week about Sarah's "rock star" performance during for last week's taping of "Day Two" of Jay Leno's return to the traditional 11:35 pm time slot for the "Tonight Show."

Since I was actually in the studio audience last week when Governor Palin made her "comedy debut" – with a small band of "Palin palm print"-bearing FReepers (and FRiends) who had crashed the party with the intention of acting as "Ed McMahon" to Sarah's "Johnny Carson" – I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.

In my not so humble opinion, however, the REAL "back story" behind last week's studio audience, which has naturally NOT been covered in the "State-Controlled Media" – was that a huge percentage of that relatively "pro-Palin" audience last week were "glamberts"– that is, hard core fans of "American Idol" singer Adam Lambert, whom many music lovers view as a contemporary reincarnation of Elvis. (Or, perhaps Liberace.)

In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange – and very unexpected (to me) twist – on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin!

I am particularly interested in hearing on this thread from ADAM LAMBERT FANS who support Sarah Palin, but I would also like to hear from CONSERVATIVES who may have reservations about welcoming this new group of Palin supporters, many of whom have been NOT previously been engaged (or informed) in the political arena.

Personally, I like the concept of "My tent, my rules."

That is, we welcome the electoral support of just about ANYBODY – but only on OUR terms. I believe that the conservative political movement should be like America itself: everyone is welcome here – IF you agree to certain fundamental, non-negotiable principles.

Please post YOUR comments and opinions about Sarah Palin and the "glamberts" here.

Thank you,
RonDog

Sarah has a long list of excellent accomplishments, and if she can pull off being taken seriously for that - all the better. Yes, the media is out to get her, and I think in some way - they (I think NBC and FOX is part of this) are starting to realize how popular she is & what a threat she is to them - so they are putting her in venues where she is being “demeaned” as a serious candidate.

FOX loves Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich and McCain, they didn’t give Sarah the time of day until they signed her on as a commentator. I’m sorry, but I don’t fully trust their intentions - and NBC - we know they hate her. They put her on for the ratings - but I believe they are also demeaning her to a level of “entertainer”, rather than a serious political entity.

Don’t get me wrong, I hope she can pull it off - but I’m having doubts, which I never had before. It’s like a curtain of realization coming down on me - where my subconscious is sending up warning signals. I REALLY hope I am wrong!

Awh, come on Leni, Let's see where Palin’s talents
go, before we throw her over. I believe that many
late night TV watchers are also a “special interest”
group, with minds to be influenced by Sarah's wit.
She is on a tight rope that can't be held up by only
us rock-ribbed conservatives, if an election has to
be won by a majority. As for McPain,, if Sarah was
to renege on her promise (and gratitude) to McPain,
she's be slammed by opinion makers for as long as
she is on the public stage. I will wait to see how she actually handles her comments while on stage with McCain.

“If you’ve ever studied modern-era history of women who have risen to the top spots in their respective countries, I assure you they didn’t attain their positions by being former stand-up comediennes or dancing with the stars.”

Maybe Palin should go back and study what other people have done, and then copy them.

The problem with that is she would have to go against her natural inclination to be a leader.

Alan Lambert fans liking Sarah. Nah. They just thought she was Tina Fey parodying Sarah. No conspiracy, no unexpected fan base... just stupidity.

You’re right that the media, including many on Fox, wants to ridicule Palin.

But she keeps coming out on top. Nothing seems to have an effect on her momentum, not the criticisms or even the praise.

Alan Lambert fans liking Sarah.

I cringe at the thought of drag queens imitating her - this is what I am afraid of happening. When she becomes an pop icon - I don't know what that would do to any further polictical aspirations.

I pray that you are right - I'm just getting some vibes that I'm not liking. Sarah and her family are so nice - and right now I just feel like they have been thrown into a den of lions - they might act like they are warming up to her - but I see it as a change of strategy, after realizing the old way wasn't working.

I don't trust them one iota, and I hope she doesn't fall into their traps. I feel like she has already fallen into John McCain's trap - and I just hope that she realizes it & will be smarter from here on out.

Very interesting.

Let’s see if Sarah’s fate can be altered by her critics in the media and even on websites like this one.

You might find it hard to believe, but there are posters on this very website (maybe on this very thread!) who pretend to be Palin fans that are suddenly losing interest in her. But don’t worry one little bit about these trolls sweetie—they can’t harm a hair on your head.

Would a pop icon speak to a right to life rally as Sarah did last nite.? It seems Sarah is getting alot of this stuff out of the way this year i.e. another book, the documentary on AK etc. By the end of the year Sarah will have to make the decision to run or not. If and its a big if Sarah doesn’t run then her support will dry up faster than a rain storm in the desert. All the people who go and see Sarah support her ideals but there is a tacit assumption Sarah will run in ‘12. We have a lot invested in Sarah and with that comes obligations and that is for Sarah to Run for the presidency. If Sarah doesn’t run then they win and we lose but conversely I like it the other way around better WE WIN THEY LOSE.

Or live in Arizona and do nothing at all.

Arizona is one state that has sense enough to leave the damn clock alone.

Maybe the Navahos didn't like the palefaces messing with The Great Spirit's own time.

But if that were so, the Cherokees, Creeks, Comanches, Apaches, Seminoles, Sac and Foxes, Caddos, Kiowas, Lenepahs, Osages and other tribes in Oklahoma didn't speak up in time.

Although we share the same philosophy, I'm afraid I'm losing interest in her as presidential timber, especially after her endorsement and campaigning for McManiac.

Agreed in principle, but there is also something to be said for loyalty.
