...I call BS on their widely-reported, but easily-debunked, "laugh track" conspiracy theory.Let's get THAT PART of this thread out of the way right from the start.
I can provide MANY facts to confirm what I already know, from having been there LIVE.
But, here is a very good analysis of why this whole story is so LAME, from a guy who just watched it on TV, as posted on hotair.com:
Just re-watched the Palin appearance on Lenos show. Either D-bag Stinson is a liar, or Jay and Sarah are incredibly talented.During the interview, it is clear that each of them pause for the applause to die down before continuing to speak. At one point, they each raise their voices to talk above the applause. If that was canned applause, then they are amazing in their ability to pause at the just the right moment knowing that the sound would be edited in later.
Same thing during Palins monologue. She must be a pro to know to pause long enough after each joke to allow space for the canned applause to be inserted. She is also a trooper. She kept smiling and plowing ahead as if the audience really liked her jokes instead showing that she was bombing like D-bag Stinson claims.
All in all, there may have been some laughter added over the top of her jokes, but only to enhance the audiences reaction not fill it in completely. I am sure this is not the first time this has happened on a talk show.
Conclusion: D-bag Stinson is a liar.

Next week we turn the clocks back and thus we have an extra hour of Sarah Palin in daylight hours. This will be essential in collecting video footage for the summer months ahead.
Spring forward, fall back.
Measure once, cut twice (go back to Home Depot)
Lambert gives me the creeps. But I’ve found a solution—don’t watch.
As for Palin, she can & should do her thing, but trying to compete against Obama for the pop culture vote is probably not a good strategy, assuming that she actually does have further political aspirations, which I question.
That’s great news! Palin power is already causing spring to move forward and now fall is being pushed back.
FYI...IMHO worth pinging the AI list, or posting a link to the AI thread....it appears, according to FReeper RonDog..that many Adam Lambert fans also adore Sarah Palin..who knew??? they sure aren’t on our thread (g)
I bet we will see Glambert fans doing Sarah in drag-which is a huge compliment to her on the planet they come from.
But: Our Tent-Our Rules...all the way Dog.

Thanks for the time you put in for us.
... not to be confused with Fall forwards, Spring back :)
It’s all yours. Have fun. :)
Or live in Arizona and do nothing at all.
I think Obamas “pop culture” vote will die off when 3 million college students graduate this year and can’t find a job. Similar to what happened to Carter.
As alienating as his looks are, I’ve learned to not necessarily go by the “weirdness” factor in determining folks’ political leanings. You look at Alice Cooper, Dave Mustaine, Sunset Nation, and Stuck Mojo (whose “Crooked Figurehead” is a scathing personal indictment of Bill Clinton) and wonder if bands have finally figured out that the only way they can truly be successful is under capitalism. Personally, I think the periphery of social culture is what the left misses when they consider their utopia of neo-communism. They focus on the Workers. Well, when everyone is a Worker, there are no musicians outside of what the very few Tsarist party members wants to hear. There are no artists outside of that sphere. There are no entertainers outside of that sphere. There are no car companies, no iPod makers, no coffee shops, no poetry readings, and any other marginal entertainment outside of the Tsarist Circle. And most importantly, no entrepeneurs at all!
...In this thread, which will serve as the "after action" report for our recent Leno FReep, I intend to explore this strange and very unexpected (to me) twist on the controversial "big tent" philosophy of the new Republican party. And that strange new twist is, many Adam Lambert fans support Sarah Palin! As I posted on onyx's Palin/Leno LIVE thread, also from adamlamberttv.blogspot.com:
...The majority of the audience were there for Adam.We had a few Palin people behind us but they were clearly in the minority. The audience was very polite even though many of us are not Palin supporters.

Why can't Adam and Palin fans be in the same person? I am.
-- snip --
I'm a Palin AND Adam supporter. There's a lot of us. A LOT of Palin supporters are Independents.....fiscally conservative and socially liberal.
-- snip --
I love Adam, and I don't dislike Palin.
I think there is room in the world for all of them. I'm glad there was such a diverse group on his show and that Leno showed respect to ALL of them.

Another Adam and Palin supporter here, who normally doesn't feel the need to respond to small-minded stereotyping of "Middle-America".
Freaks are now “idols.”
