Not the American Way
American Spectator ^ | 3/5/10 | Quin Hillyer

There is something way off balance in the character of Barack Obama. Something in the realm of zealotry, with a touch of megalomania, and perhaps an authoritarian impulse too. He combines Alinskyite tactics and outlook with an air of self-assumed moral superiority in a way that fails to respect the usual, small 'r' republican limits on American presidents.

Barack Hussein Mugabe thinks he has unlimited power, but he will end up like every other tyrant in history.

Exile, big mansion, millionaire life style, and a private jet.

Just pay the little effin Kenyan runt to GTFO.

Regardless of birthplace, this little muslim is clearly not “AN AMERICAN” in any practical or cultural sense.
If history survives, it will be very intresting to finally find out how he really got the job.

We all get the government that we deserve. Everything that the Obamanator is doing was public knowledge before he was elected.

I spent many long and hot posts about electing McPain, even with all his flaws and warts, that no one wanted to hear. Well I can tell you this much, this is not a debate that we would be having if we had all showed up in Nov of 08.

“Well I can tell you this much, this is not a debate that we would be having if we had all showed up in Nov of 08.”

Unfortunately, even McPain didn’t show up. He gave up the race the moment he told us we needn’t fear an obama presidency.

Sarah Palin was the only one speaking for us, and McPain was mute. There was SO much he could have been challenging obama on, and he was MIA.

I concur with your statement and go further. I think McCain would not have made a good President. He has a history of rolling over conservatives. I did not vote “for” McCain; rather, I voted against Obama.

our clever system of government provides for the handling of someone like Obama in that it has the checks and balances of Congress.

Unfortunately for Americans, the founders had not foreseen that a Congress could be too closely linked with the POTUS so as not to provide this necessary checking system while at the same time POTUS could be an unpatriotic non-native born person, in spite of specific language reagarding it in the Constitution.

The last provision the founders gave us to check such a POTUS is the regular election cycle which allows change to occur first of Congress then the POTUS.

Watch carefully if the congressional or executive rules on this: some event could come about wherein POTUS declares martial law or congress changes the way elections are held(census) or SCOTUS is selected(increasing members to pack the court) so that change envisioned by the founders is interrupted.

We are dealing with renegade politicians who have no patriotism, no honor and no intent to allow their positions of power to go away one obtained.

Regardless of birthplace, this little muslim....

Well who's to say whether Obama's a secret Muslim or not. But the guy is objectively tall, whether it's in feet and inches or in centimeters. Unless you consider Bush "small" too, because they're about the same height.

For most Americans, Obama doesn't seem to be giving them something they don't have, but instead to be taking away something they already value.

This is true not only about his forcing socialized, soviet "health" care on the country, but for all things obama. He is forcing his socialist, progressive crap upon us and that is a very dangerous thing for anyone to try to do to Americans. Still...it's better that he's doing it this way instead of the incremental way that brought us here.

If the elite personages of the world and the largest international money dealers (banks) and the Communist Party had put you in power and now back you up, wouldn’t you be smug?
