I was born in Texas but the high property taxes, Chiggers, Fire Ants, and hot humid weather ran me off. One year they raised my property taxes over $1000! In California, They can’t do that.

I’m in California to stay as long as Prop. 13 remains the law.

However, I do miss the Texans.

I can almost guarantee that there will be a small drop in unemployment this month.

why?
Because the Census offices are hitting their largest hiring point right now. Just the North Fresno office is going to be hiring hundreds, and that’s just one of many in CA, and not one of the largest. That’s happening nationwide, so there is going to be a little bump there, unless they adjust for it.

It will be interesting to see the numbers for the month people graduate from high school and college. Maybe it will snow somewhere and they’ll use that as an excuse for bad numbers. nobama resign today!
