Well, this is a far cry from peddling a reality show idea.
This one is a nice idea.

Not enough info at this point to determine whats exactly being shopped, if anything. Not in this article but another one from a trade magazine described what was being pitched as an "Earth" type show that depicts Alaska's natural beauty and the people who live there.

I heard it. Brian Kilmeade relayed what she said over the phone. It’s not about her or her family, it’s about Alaska.

Ill just say (for fear of the MODS) that a lot of people including on here at FR have been exposed...BIG TIME!!!What YOU said,
I miss the 'good ole days' at FR - and the Viking Kitties! that guarded the gates.
To: Non-Sequitur
Maybe he’ll do it like he did “Live for the Moment” and talk about real people overcoming real obstacles and making great achievements- a series that has very strong Conservative overtones.

Which, to be fair, is what the original reports said. The question is whether Palin or her family would be featured, say as narrators or adventurers out in the wild.
Did she deny that her family would be on camera at all?
Again, thanks.

I was talking about no state sales or income taxes. No property taxes or extensive regulation. No law enforcement within 200 miles from where I call home, or no red lights or stop signs. The fact that the state is way in the black, 40 bill in perm fund. No organized govt all over rural Ak, means no local taxes, or comp planning, or ordinances, or anybody telling you you can't do this or that or calling the cops because there ain't none. No gun control, everybody has sidearms on their belts and the kids even take rifles to bus stop for bear protection come warm weather. Many fed regulations are not enforced as Ak believes state law is more important.
Bottomline, what ever a man does in his own house is his own business. Palin screams this sorta freedoms; why she was so well liked here in Ak. The wilderness is just t he icing on the cake.

I replayed what Kilmeade said. That’s all he said.

She could change her fingernail color and the PMS folks would use it to attack her. As I explained to the infamous Palin hater BobJ- the level of Palin devotion is directly proportional to the level of Palin attacks.

If its a documentary then why is she contacting reality show producers? Surely she can find some people at National Geographic who have actually done documentaries before? Maybe she wants to avoid the outfits that are wont to put their political spin into whatever they do????
Hmmmm?
I sure trust HER judgment over - ah, say - yours.
To: aphid
I also suspect the same. They need to get National Geographic or The Discovery Channel involved in the filming. They have brilliant cinematographers.

"A lie can travel around the world in the morning before the truth gets its pants on." -- Sarah Palin
Except that she stole that from Winston Churchill.
And Winston borrowed it from the version attributed to Mark Twain: A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.

..and unlike National Geographic- getting Burnett involved means you won’t need any of that taxpayer PBS funding to make it happen.
