Thanks for the link. What is still unclear, however, is what her role in this project would be, if it’s not as a reality show participant? Is she just going to open the episodes as a sort hot Alistair Cooke? Is that the sort of thing a “reality topper” like Mike Darnell at Fox goes in for? Who knows? For now, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, and await the “proof in the pudding”
Oldsourpuss's article made it sound like she was going to do a trashy reality show following the hillbilly antics of the Palin family being like the Clampetts.

Oh she was there, because I read about it this morning(I don’t remember where) but it said that she did buy some things but it was all donated to charity and that she gave money to some organization to help the earthquake victims in Haiti and Chile

Well, after all the reaction and overreaction from various directions, I'd bet that is still an accurate statement from your original link. Nothing says it will be a cheesy reality show, but there is no shortage of documentaries about Alaska. I've seen several. I expect this will be Sarah and some of her family at times doing a combination Alaska show with historical highlights, natural attractions and the state's potential for greater energy production.
But I think it's a safe bet Sarah and family will be involved as they'd attract a much larger audience than just another Alaska documentary.

A logical assessment won't go over very well, here - apparently. But you're right - no network, especially broadcast network, is going to give this a second look without Palin's family involved in some way.
