And nothing on the west coast of the US for weeks now... I wonder if it’s saving up for something.

Sure there has been.

I just asked King Vanity to send up prayer intentions that there be no shakin from a quakin here on the Oregon Coast.

Heaven forbid his mirror break. /sarc

If you have access to the USGS map of the entire west coast and the PNW you will see all the little quakes (hopefully stress relievers).

The only place on the west coast that has not had any small quakes is our State.

Your state has been busy from South on up to the most recent the NW of Wash.

The air/bay/ocean here has been real still and peacefull the past week.

The weather from El Nino has kept our area on the coast the best in warm not so stormy winter in the whole state.

Just Lovin it!
Salmon run is forcasted to be the best fishing in many years this year.

(have had zac brown band tunes playin in my head all week it has been that great)

It's very quiet, and has been for some time...

"A study completed by Yuri Fialko has demonstrated that the San Andreas fault has been stressed to a level sufficient for the next "big one," as it is commonly called, that is, an earthquake of magnitude 7.0 or greater. The study also concluded that the risk of a large earthquake may be increasing faster than researchers had previously believed. Fialko also emphasized in his study that, while the San Andreas Fault had experienced massive earthquakes in 1857 at its central section and in 1906 at its northern segment (the 1906 San Francisco earthquake), the southern section of the fault has not seen a similar rupture in at least 300 years."

Tic, toc, tic, toc.

The U.S. hasn’t had a real earthquake with major damage and injuries in decades....80s I think was the last one.

We are about overdue frankly at this point.
