This is the link you need for anything happening around the world. Disaster information service out of Budapest.
Good interactive maps. Earthquakes, volcanoes, storms, biohazards, epidemics, etc. Be a good link to pass on to your earthquake ping list.

How about those waves in the Mediterranean? I wonder if they were related to this new earthquake.

Well, they could try the Al Gore thing. Who cares if it appeases the gods or not? It’s worth a shot.

Heh, you're scaring me too. I recall a loud crash and my bed went airborne and then settled into shaking left and right then up and down. My area was hit by two quakes on two fault lines, the one in Northridge and a previously undetected fault line underneath my street.
Then there was the sound of my neighbor screaming "GAS LEAK! Everyone get out now! The building is going to blow!" He had gotten in late the night before and was as inebriated as ever.

I waited a few hours after the quake to get inebriated.
Sounds like you were closer to the epi than I was.
We were in Santa Monica, the Ocean Park area, and were hit in a “tip of the whip” way.

Thanks for the links, Bigheadfred. It's always good to have links to more information, although I'm not sure that Hungarian seismologists would have more current info than USGS.
