She helped stop the building of the border fence?

For that reason alone, she should be sh*t canned.

Yes and that does not bode well for Palin.

She also voted for cloture on McCain’s amnesty bill.

She lost because she never explained why she should be governor.

It looked like she just wanted another government job.

Her campaign reflected who she is.....perfectly. She approved every hit-piece..... She must think we Texans are ignorant.....typical Washington-think...

Those backroom giggles are expensive, aren't they Kay?

U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison was the most popular elected official in Texas

She became unpolular when she almost voted for the amnesty bill.

I think the explanation is easier. Anybody who is happy enough with the current governor was not going to vote to replace him in a primary, and anybody who liked her as Senator was not going to be happy about forcing her out of the Senate.

Is it really a shock when a challenger fails to unseat a popular incumbent in a primary?

Is there any chance she will show her true colors and join the Dems?

I doubt that....she just stepped in that same old bog of stench where all RINOs bath... She will never escape that odor....never.
