End of the Democratic Party? Sadly, there is no chance of that.

And no, we will never repeal it if the Democrats get this passed - and they probably will.

Yes, it will be a total disaster, but that will be the Democrats reason to further government involvement till we have a full single payer system. That is their goal, and the American people seem pretty happy to march down the road towards European socialism.

Look at what is happening to Bunning? Asking that we at least pay for the additional 10 billion in spending on unemployment benefits and the Democrats and media are having a field day mocking him because they know the American people are suckers who can’t stomach someone not getting their freebies. We aren’t even arguing about the wisdom of extending these benefits for 2 years now, and we can’t even get more than 1 senator to at least suggest we pay for it.

No, this will pass. Yes, the Democrats are going to have a bad November this year, that is bound to happen whether HCR lives or dies, but in the long run, getting more people dependent on government only insures the leftists lock on power. Just look at Europe, where the conservative parties are about as rightwing as our Democrats.

They were scheduled to do it on Monday. They don’t have the votes.

They are still trying though.

It cant be repealed unless the Republicans win 2/3 of the Congress and that is near impossible. Remember Obama will veto any legislation that attempts to repeal his baby so repeal will have to meet a veto proof majority...

Tall order but if enough Americans really wake up and do that then that would be great indeed.

we can repeal this crap.

That would never happen. The pubs would cave to the negative press they'd receive from the RATS and the dems know it's just a matter of a relatively short time they'd be able to start getting reelected again, because of the republican's weakness.

“we can repeal this”

Yes, you’re correct, but reality is that once things get going, they’re about impossible to stop.

God forbid they build the building and have those precious new employees in house; it’s always “oh, we don’t want to kick all these people out of their jobs”, worthless as they may be.
