I sure hope the public is getting tired of the same old predictable media drumbeat about how guys like Bill Brady and Peter Fitzgerald are "ultra conservative" and "too extreme" when they vote with their party 90% of the time, but guys like Obama, Durbin, and Blago were moderate consensus builder candidates and uniting Americans when they voted with their party 99% of the time. I can't believe voters fall for this stuff.
Sadly, even some freepers buy the kool-aid, the media will tell us all Bill Brady is too far right to ever win in Illinois, then if he wins anyway in November they'll reverse course and claim the only reason he won is "ANY Republican" would have beaten Pat Quinn in 2010. And some useful idiot freepers will just nod and agree with the media's conclusion about how conservatives normally "never win" in Illinois, just like they did when "unelectable" Peter Fitzgerald won.
Here's a pic this week of our newly minted GOP ticket -- Bill Brady & Jason Plummer, together at the Lyons GOP Lincoln Day Dinner. Looks like they're getting along well, I hope their organizations are doing the same and working together for the fall. In the middle is Tony Percicia, who won Mark Kirk's district handily when he ran for county board President in 2006, even though Pericia is pro-life, pro-traditional values, pro-gun, and for limited government. Funny how that happened.
BTW, speaking of Kirk -- I also noticed allegedly "fiscal conservative" Mark Kirk sided with the RATs with week on spending an extra $10 billion to extend unemployment compensation, and opposed Jim Bunning's fiscally conservative measure to pay for the extension with using unspent money from last years "economic recovery" package instead. Of course the media won't be caught dead reporting this information to voters, but I'll be posting it on FR today.
They voted in possibly the most corrupt Cook County President in Cook County history because he was black.
