Good for you Mr. President. Shame others didn't show you the same courtesy.

Many things I could say about this man, but nobody can credibly deny that the man has class.

Can anyone deny that powerful forces are moving us toward a one world government?
If that is conceded, what was GWB’s role?
Was it Christian?

as usual Bush lets the left demonize him and we have to live with the results.
for once this guy needs to stand up from himself and his party and his convictions.
being noble and standing silent is the environment that Chavez, Castro , Hitler, and now obama can breed without any interference !

I praise Bush for his beliefs... but he was a miserable failure due to his refusal to confront the evil that was constantly attacking him... and it is a crime that he does not critique hussein... it is a major reason as to why his administration was so unpopular... had he only fought back.

Unfortunately, he also wouldn’t stand up for himself during his 8 years in the White House! Credit that for dem victories in ‘06 and ‘08.

He doesn’t have to - obama’s behavior speaks volumes.

As the comments in this topic prove, “W” can’t ever do the right thing in the eyes of some, left or right. It’s that old Lincoln quote with “please the people”, substituted for “fool the people”. “Can’t do it, not gonna do it, wouldn’t be prudent”, to quote a comedian, quoting his Dad.
While not my favorite President, he’s a good man that I respect and love, and yeah, sometimes I wished he’d have just gone all “Ann Coulter” on the left - but, I won’t criticize him for his principals. Like many, I see it as a class, but even if he went “nucular” on Obama, he’d have his detractors on both sides.
That he said (and I believe sincerely), “The prayers of the people ... sustained me, comforted me and strengthened me ... “, is why I love the man - not his politics, his speech patterns, his class or his lack of. God bless him.

Whatever issues I have with President Bush, he’s sure got a lot more class than any Democrat ex-President.
