How to take a break from the Hopey-Changey by watching Sarah Palin and Jay Leno
Ann Arbor Examiner ^ | March 1, 2010 | Kevin Fobbs

The American late-night icon Jay Leno will be welcoming Sarah Palin on the second night of his comeback week. Whether you like Palin or not she and Leno will be entering into millions of American homes on Tuesday night as The Tonight Show re-launches with its old host. The howls from her political and social detractors who feel that maybe, just maybe, this political dynamo just might have the right stuff to stir a nation much in the same way that Ronald Reagan – another down-home governor – convinced the doubters and naysayers of his rugged commitment to a new morning in America have already started.

Sitting down to watch The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Sarah Palin is an event that perhaps lends itself to a degree of preparation as well as creating a comfortable setting. After all it was just over a year earlier when a new president had been sworn in and many in the upper elite of the liberal Washington punditry felt Sarah Palin had been summarily dismissed from our national consciousness…or so they wished.

Now a year-plus later, “Sarah Who” is now “Sarah Wow.” Like President Reagan who rose from the wreckage ...

Whether she becomes the president or not, I remember the predictions of lib scribblers and assorted gadflies that the loss in 2008 was the end of Sarah Palin as a factor in politics. But her poltical stock grew in proportion to The Great Spreader’s sinking poll numbers. Now they are reduced to venting their scarcely concealed rage at her and worried that she might actually be the next pres. Their hero Obama seems to be having a lot of problems. And it looks like Obama might be looking at his problems through a shot glass. Moderate that liquor intake O Great Genius. (smirk)

Join the writers guild and then write Leno some funny conservatives jokes, and if you lack the talent, commission one of your funny friends...

I have "written" some really good Obama jokes, BTW, but they couldn't be posted here much less on TV.

I never voted for McCain and never would

But I did vote for Sarah

I don't ever watch Leno

However tonight I will watch Palin

And the Free Republic members in the audience dressed in red.

That is where the loudest applause and whistles/yells will be coming from!

Well guess if you want. I’m from Missouri, I’d like hear what she has to say, and see what she has said and done in the past instead of guessing.LOL

I’ll tape it.

Would like to see her walk out w/ two teleprompter screens and set them on each side of her chair.

My “post” in #31 was just a bookmark for me to come back later to this thread... I’ve already alerted my ping list (via another thread) to watch Sarah tonight on Jay Leno. Go Sarah!
