It takes about 80 years before the census records are SUPPOSED to be made public I am pretty sure they sell the data immediately now.

I had the same questions. This is how it was explained to me. They can take a head count anyway they think is the best way. That means, everyone stand outside of their house at 10:00 March 5th at 6:00a.m. Or by mail, or go to your local post office and give the number of people living in your house. Enumeration, number of people living in the same household. That’s it.

Exactly, you should be courteous, but firm if you have to be, to the census takers. They are only doing a job and probably haven't the foggiest idea what the constitution says. Best idea is to have a copy of the constitution on hand and show them.
Someone once said to me, maybe you are the only light in the place. Maybe you will have the opportunity to enlighten someone about what the constitution says.

I didn’t say I agreed with their “enumeration”. I shit-canned the 2000 census questionaire and never heard from anyone as a result. I was simply pointing-out that the Feds can and will make up any “law” to suit their plans and the SCOTUS will probably go along with them.
