American growers would plant it LEGALLY, on PRIVATE land. There would not longer be a financial incentive for illegals to commandeer PUBLIC property for 'illegal' activities.

Archer Daniels Midland would grow the seeds, farmers in the midwest would put in pot instead of growing corn for driving your car.
No drug gangs.
Just like prohibition of alcohol; prohibition of pot just makes a huge industry go underground.
