Intellectuals (those whose ideas have no personal consequences) have always thought it a good idea to unilaterally disarm, whether it was as a sign of “goodwill” or in order not to appear threatening, or for “fairness”.

Read Sowell’s interview in the IBD.

Meanwhile, David and Solomon show us the example of having very strong armies deterring any enemies from daring to attack, and the prosperity that results.

At current gold prices, Solomon’s business ventures were netting him over a $billion per year.

Everything this guy does gives me an uncomfortable, hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach. The politics of the Weathermen and William Ayres, Van Jones, Soros, Chomsky, and the 60’s are becoming public policy. O is in a mad rush to make it all “irreversible”.
