The price of a Weiner
NY Post ^ | March 01, 2010 | Editorial

That was some temper tantrum the terminally excitable Anthony Weiner threw on the floor of the House of Representatives the other day.

It was a trademark rant on alleged GOP obstructionism on ObamaCare: "The Republican Party is a wholly owned subsidiary of the insurance industry -- that's a fact," Weiner declared.

Rep. Dan Lungren (R-Calif.), who -- like every other Republican -- appreciates that his party is no such thing, understandably objected: He asked that Weiner's tirade be stricken from the record.

Weiner sulked for a few seconds and then retracted his words, changing them to: "Every single Republican I've ever met in my entire life is a wholly owned subsidiary of the insurance industry."

I’ll bet that weiner got his butt kicked on the play ground a lot when he was a kid. And now he thinks it’s payback time.

“Sort of makes you wonder why all these special interests think that Anthony Weiner is so . . . well, special.”
They don’t. For most of the “special interests” it’s a protection racket pure and simple.

One wonders if the brilliant Mr. Weiner would be much more happy in Cuba rather than this terrible, uncaring, cold and cruel United States of America, so filled with stupid, ignorant,gun-loving, bible-thumping idiots.

One also wonders if Mr. Weiner is so advanced, so intelligent, so intellectual, so brainy and really really smart, that he should set out to solve all the problems of mankind and make a perfect world without raising taxes on his neighbors.

/s/

IMHO

He likes to play hockey even in his mid-40’s. He’s a goalie, I think. Stopped one puck too many with his skull?

Weiner surely comes from a wingnut-left district and uses his BS to stir up the proles. NY and Cali are full of districts like that and they are gerrymandered guaranteed 99% safely Dem forever.

I like the last comment after the story:

"Weiner is a jerk. He is the only man that can run full speed into a brick wall, naked, with an erection, and still break his nose. Thanks Chuck Schumer. "

The real problem is that stupid Republicans did not get up and say, “The Presidnet and the DemocRATS made backroom deals with BIG PHARMA and Insurance companies...not republicans. You RATS are in the hands of the companies you HATE. They gave obama 2 times as much campaign money!! now shut up!!”

I understand the second largest contributor to Weiner’s campaign is the insurance lobby......

..I can only assume that Oscar Meyer Inc is number one.....

NY might elect a pubbie senator but those NYC House districts haven’t been GOP in 100 years. Just as Barney Frank has little to worry about in MA.

That being said, I wouldn’t mind being proven wrong about that one bit!
