Harvard University had a great tradition of sending its men to fight in America’s Wars.

It’s only recently that liberalism, pacificism and anti-Americanism has permenated it and the rest of our colleges and universities.

"I don’t disagree with your stance, but I question its relevancy."

I believe it's relevant because although Harvard is a private school, it receives millions - some years tens of millions - in public research grant money. Some might question (and by some, I mean me), how it is a school can come to receive US taxpayer money while at the same time not only not allowing an ROTC program on campus, but also disallowing recruiters on the campus.

Perhaps the government could have found other universities to invest that money in; Universities that weren't (aren't) so patently hostile to the US military.

I wonder how Rev. John Harvard would feel about that.

"Harvard? Who are they?"

They've relegated their institution to a third rate community college status (sorry community colleges) when they turn out the likes of Obama, and numerous others of like mindedness, who don't believe in the US Constitution. Obama's statement that the Constitution is a "Fatally Flawed Document", a term used by courts to identify a contract as so "fatally flawed" it's unenforceable, reveals his view of the greatest document in the history of mankind.

So ............... when law schools indoctrinate their students with crap like this, those schools are nothing more than third rate and should be avoided at all costs, in my humble opinion.

“40 years........roughly a generation or so...yeah that was long enough to “purge” any true warriors/conservatives from it’s midst. Just imagine the fine officers that will come from there”

My father and grandfather were Harvard grads. Dad was in the class of 1940 with JFK. Oh, the stories he told us! Dad was a staunch conservative and I was so grateful that W was in the White House, not Clinton, when dad passed away.

Excellent post, thank you. May their sacrifice be honored by the lifting of this ban.

The ban’s future appears to hinge on whether President Obama and Congress abolish the military’s “don’t ask/don’t tell” policy toward gays serving in the armed services.

Harvard is run by a bunch of phonies! The original ban had nothing to do with gays at all, but rather being against the military and the Vietnam war. Now they want to base the ROTC's return on the gay policy issue??

P H O N I E S !

Pssst! We're in two wars right now - Afghanistan and Iraq. What do they say about that? Phonies!
