it is bizarre that JBS was allowed to sponsor CPAC! And even more bizarre that they agreed to do it!

The only thing I can take away from this article is...
The New York Times, and some guy I have never heard of, doesn’t like some so called “fringe” conservatives.
Really???? What a surprise!!!
I am sure these folks will keep eating away at the “fringes” until everyone in the tea party movement will be nice little centrists like maybe Megan McCain, Daddy McCain and Lindsey Graham. Hmmmm....
So, essentially, with the help of some well placed “party organizers” the tea party movement will be absorbed into irrelevance by the very people who fear it the most. The Tea Party isn’t a political party and it doesn’t have to be to be effective.
The Tea Party movement is empowered by those whose voices are not heard and those who are ignored. This is a large group of citizens in this country and it is a good thing.
Keep it simple and keep it real. Be vigilant and watch for infiltrators who will undermine the very essence of the movement.

They have already taken over CPAC

The New York Times, which recently ran a 4,500 word story on the infiltration of the movement by a militia-linked group called Oath KeepersUh, no it didn't. It ran the piece on the tea party movement in general and mentioned Oath Keepers in passing.

it is bizarre that JBS was allowed to sponsor CPAC! And even more bizarre that they agreed to do it! I had a good, close look at the John Birch Society web site a couple of weeks ago and found nothing at all objectionable about their message.
It makes me suspect that they are being demonized because perhaps in the past they have proven to be effective(?)

2+2 equals 4 was taken from Beck’s speech. When the facists etc tell you 2+2 equals 5, you need to have the courage to tell the truth.

CPAC supports Islamic invasion and CAIR
(at CPAC 2010, the) message there was that real conservatives dont support the war
on terror because it is a creation of the Israeli lobby which coalesces with the left-
wings new anti-Semitism against neoconservatives. Karen Kwiatkowski is a darling of
both the leftist Huffington Post and the anti-Semitic paleocon site Antiwar.com.
Grover Norquist
is a board member of the ACU, and from the looks of CPACs
covered topics and omission of discussion of jihad, it looks as if he exerts enormous
influence over David Keene, the ACUs nominal leader. Norquist and his ally Suhail
Khan seem to be in charge at CPAC no CPAC event goes on that doesnt reflect their perspective.
.
Grover Norquists troubling ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known
for years. He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes, who was director of
communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they married in 2005, are very
active in Muslim outreach.
..
It was Norquist who ushered these silver-tongued jihadists into the Oval Office after the
worst attack ever on American soil.
.
Grover Norquist was on the jihad payroll before and after the carnage and death of
September 11
.
Norquist also introduced Nihad Awad, cofounder and executive director of the Council
on American-Islamic Relations, to President Bush.
.
It is no surprise that CPAC 2010, like CPAC 2009, had nothing addressing the war we
are actually engaged in. This is due to the influence of Norquist, Keene, and Suhail Khan,
a CPAC board member. According to Gaffney, Khan has repeatedly been a featured
speaker at MSA, ISNA and CAIR events that is, Muslim Students Association, Islamic
Society of North America, and Council on American-Islamic Relations, three groups
linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, the international Islamic organization dedicated to
establishing the rule of Islamic law and the subjugation of infidels worldwide.

This occured becasue CPAC/ACU/CAIR is run by David Keene,
so involved in scandal, Palin-bashing, and Romney-care polishing, before.

Keenes ACU also puts on the annual CPAC conference in Washington.
.In the last three years CPAC has devolved into nothing more than
an annual love fest for the most established of establishment
Republicans, Mitt Romney. It should come as no surprise that David
Keene supported Mitt Romney in 2008.
David Keene Endorses Romney
ACU President David Keene Endorses Romney
Long courted by Romney, Keene agreed to formalize his endorsement of
the former governor during a face to face meeting in Florida on
Tuesday, according to knowledgeable sources.
David A. Keene (born May 20, 1945) is the current chairman of the American
Conservative Union, a position which he has held since 1984. Additionally, he is the
managing associate at the Carmen Group Lobbying, a lobbying firm based in
Washington, D.C. In December 2007, Keene endorsed Mitt Romney's presidential campaign.

Has CPAC gone bad? Is it a dead platform for the T-Party. Notice that CPAC was unsupportive of Pam Gellar (anti-Islamist), unsupportive of Tancredo (anti-Amnesty) and Pro-GayMafia, Pro-LeftyTarian (RuPaul) & Glen Beck, Pro-Norquis.ling (Amnsety, Islamist). This along with the $$ scam CPAC tried to do with FedEx....looks like it’s only going to get worse!

Here’s what really chaps my ass about all this.
The Dems embrace full-on Communists, Socialists....and worse. Their party contains some of the WORST sort of scum, but that’s OK, donchaknow.
Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.
It also pisses me off that the left has succeeded in labeling anyone who doubts Obama’s citizenship/eligibility (it’s his own damned fault, people) as now marginalized “birthers”; aka “kooks”.
Saul Alinsky strikes again.
To: neverdem
Haven’t you people wondered why NONE of your talk radio heroes (plus Coulter) have gotten behind the Birthers? Figure it out. If you can.

What I find interesting is this narrative that Tancredo’s speech was so “racist” (racially tinged), yet no one has a copy of his full speech online, and all you ever get is one quote that has been intentionally distorted over and over again.
I was there. With all the furor over that one little bit taken out of context, I’m convinced many people don’t want Tancredo’s full message to be seen.

“I dont believe we should be giving [extremists] a platform or empowering them to do anything based off their conspiracy theories, said Ned Ryun, president of American Majority, because they give the left ammunition to try to define the tea party movement as crazy and fringy. “
This is like saying, “We gotta be nice to Muslim terrorists so they won’t get mad and kill us”.
The Conservative movement has room for the John Birch Society. Lots of room.
