“Authorities in Hawaii have provided an electronic record of Obama’s birth because the paper copy was destroyed in a fire which wiped out much of the state's archives.”

This is the first that I heard that a fire destroyed the original paperwork. Has that been stated before?

Please excuse me for butting in. I have been following this whole thing very closely. I have never even heard a slight suggestion of fire.

We must all be wary here. It could be yet another hoax and someone delights in drawing a response. A fire has witnesses. It goes into the records one way or another. Like to see some proof of such a fire.
