Freed from his life sentence, the Lockerbie bomber was sent home by the Scots on compassionate grounds because he had 'just three months' to live.

But six months later, Abdelbaset Ali Mohamed al-Megrahi is still living - and doing it in the lap of luxury.

Yesterday, his elderly father even held out the prospect of him beating the prostate cancer that doctors said would kill him by last Christmas.

Mr Ali al-Megrahi believes that good genes, 'positive thinking' and alternative medicines could explain his son's remarkable survival.

Megrahi, 57, no longer receives hospital treatment after ending a course of chemotherapy.

Last night, the British cancer specialist who gave the three-month prognosis was forced to defend his prediction. dying

He insisted that Megrahi remained gravely ill and was not expected to live much longer.

He said the patient's survival may be due to his excitement over his reunion with family.

They should have included in his release a provision that if he doesn’t die, either (1) he goes back to prison in Scotland, or (2) we get to go to Libya and kill him. I’m partial to (2) but would have settled for (1).

Shocker, the UK relied on Muslim doctors paid by Libya to render a diagnosis for the courts and the Eurowussie Socialist bought it.



Dr Andrew Fraser was appointed as Director of Health and Care in April 2006.

1) "Taking all the advice into account, the director of Health and Care at SPS (Scottish Prison Service) concluded that his clinical assessment was that a three month prognosis for the patient was a reasonable estimate,"

2) It emerged that the prognosis that Abdel Baset Ali al-Megrahi had a life expectancy of only three months or less was supported by an unnamed doctor who had no expertise in terminal prostate cancer.

I don't blame the doctor in this case, all he did wrong was make a faulty prognosis based on the assumption that the bomber was going to get European-style socialized medicine.

Personally, I think we should wage jihad against the idiot judge(s) who set the bomber free.
