Seems like a lot of earthquakes lately. If I were in California I’d be pretty nervous.

First Haiti, then Japan now Chile.

I think the west coast of the United States better keep it's head up!

Prayers for those who live in Japan and Chile.

Is it just me or does anybody else see the hand of God behind all of this?

At the very least I see plate tectonics behind it.

Its 3:20am here in Alaska, I went online 10 minutes ago, it appeared to me that the internet is having major connection problems, took me 10 minutes just to get here to post this.

Nothing here on a tsunami warning, looking at the Hawaii report now.

What happens along the ring of fire happens here.

Ring of fire.

I’m blaming Johnny Cash this time but I’m keeping an eye on Bush just in case.

Not to diminish the tragedy of the situation, but I sense another drain on the U.S. Treasury coming up.

Well, there is THAT too I guess. :^)

Looks like the whole planet is starting to move around a LOT!

Has there ever been a time in recorded history that there have been so many LARGE earthquakes happening so close in time?

I of 40 years can't remember hearing of three 7.0 or higher earthquakes just months, or in this case DAYS from each other.

“Seems like a lot of earthquakes lately. If I were in California I’d be pretty nervous.”

I watch them on the USGS site. There’s around 1200 right now in the U.S. It’s been unusually high lately and it’s really been shaking around Yellowstone.

First Haiti, then Japan now Chile.

Yup.

I think the west coast of the United States better keep it's head up!

More to the point, I'm going to make sure my earthquake kit is up to date tomorrow. I'm putting that off no longer!

Prayers for those who live in Japan and Chile.

Absolutely!

Is it just me or does anybody else see the hand of God behind all of this?

Absolutely NOT! It's all about the earth's large molten core, way larger than normal due to the collision we apparently took during the formation of the moon.

And it impacts horrible, so-so, good, and great people equally.
