WASHINGTON — Democratic leaders from Congress to the White House vowed Friday to resurrect their long-stalled health care legislation, with or without Republican suggestions or votes. "We know what happens if we do nothing: more and more people pay more," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said. "The president believes we still have to act."
Nearly a year after President Barack Obama set the overhaul effort in motion, Gibbs said the president would make an announcement, probably on Wednesday, about "where he sees a path moving forward."
Gibbs said the next few days would be a "fairly dynamic process" as the administration and Democratic congressional leaders decide how best to proceed. The White House believes the most likely route to passage by Congress is a controversial one known as "reconciliation," which involves special budget rules allowing majority Democrats to avoid any Republican filibuster, said a senior administration official.
But there are other options for a Democratic-only solution, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the political sensitivity of the issue. Less likely, at this point, is settling for a more modest fallback bill.

First Obama calls for the Bipartisan Summit of all time (and then spends the whole prior week crafting a one party plan which he then posts on the adminstration’s website). Doesn’t exactly convey to anyone that the Summit was legitimate as he had advertised. Now he lets out a six week timeline for bipartisanship and then it gets announced the RATS are closeted and will move ahead with a RAT-only plan before that.
Building voter trust, right Rahm? What a bunch of morons (thank goodness).

These bills are blank checks for Demonrats to take over our lives any way they please. You heard their king: “I’m the President. You don’t count my time.”.

They don’t have the votes in the House to pass the Senate bill. I’m seen various analyses. It’s all bluster to hype the Left over the weekend.
They are pushing ahead because winning on Obamacare has nothing to do with Obamacare...it’s about PROGRESSIVE CONTROL and transforming the US. They’ve got a whole lot invested in their agenda and we better concern ourselves with WHY they feel so comfortable pushing, against what American’s want, and are not the least bit concerned about losing their jobs! A little too odd.

Tricare fee increases imposed last week by the Defense Department will be repealed by a provision of the compromise 2010 defense authorization bill unveiled Wednesday by House and Senate negotiators.
Snip The fee increases were announced on Sept. 30 and took effect on Oct. 1, but the defense bill, HR 2647, includes a provision barring any fee increases until the start of fiscal 2011.

Retired Army Maj. Gen. Bill Matz, president of the National Association for Uniformed Services, said the announcement of fee increases was shocking considering that the Obama administration promised earlier this year to hold off on any new fee Tricare fee increases until fiscal 2011.
“President Obama and DoD assured NAUS and the entire military family earlier this year that there would rightly be no increases in any Tricare fees” in fiscal 2010, Matz said. “We took them at their word, and I can’t believe that a co-pay increase like this was allowed to go forward,” he added.
