Palin Favorite Paul Ryan Rules Out 2012 Run For President
ABC News ^ | Feb. 9. 2010 | Teddy Davis

Rep. Paul Ryan, a Wisconsin Republican who has recently been under attack by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and lavished with praise by former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), is ruling out a 2012 run for president.

Over the weekend, Ryan was singled out for praise by Palin during her interview with “Fox News Sunday.”

"“[W]e have some strong -- some young Turks in this party,” said Palin. “Paul Ryan -- I’m very impressed with Paul Ryan. . . . He’s good. Man, he is sharp. He is smart, articulate. And he is passionate about these commonsense solutions that America has got to adopt to get us on the right road.”

"I'll give you as Shermanesque a quote as I can," said Ryan. "I am not going to run for president. I'm just not going to do it. My head's not that big, and my kids are too small.”

I hope he changes his mind and decides to run. He’s very impressive and we need some new blood at the top of the Republican ticket. I hope the leaders wake up and don’t foist off more has-beens like McCain, Romney, Huckabee who’s time in the sun has come and gone.

One Rep brought up CBO anlysis. Zero took one part of it and shot back that the Reps were wrong it Would reduce deficit.
Ryan then read word for word what the CBO really said. Proved Zero was lying right before the cameras.

AND Ryan did it with confidence and obviously knew EXACTLY what he was talking about. Unlike Zero that spews talking points contantly

I am going to be looking for a fiscal conservative, someone who will show this nonsense that we have going on for the sham that it is and someone who will take our National Security seriously, and that includes immigration!

Whoever gets the nomination has to be prepared to make up for a lot of lost time........talk about inheriting a mess!

“Why won’t he run against Feingold? Or does he think Tommy Thompson will take that role?”

Tommy’s not interested (he loves the attention, though) and we don’t necessarily want him when we have Terence Wall up against Feingold.

According to recent polling this last week, if the election were held today, Wall would BEAT Feingold. And Wall is not very well known, yet, LOL! And Wall is pulling in Independents like crazy-mad! That’s how BADLY Feingold needs to go. Feingold can’t pass the 50% mark for approval in polling:

“More proof that Wisconsin voters are fed-up with Russ Feingold.

Another poll is showing Wisconsin is following the trend seen in New Jersey, Massachusetts and Virginia. Well respected polling firm Public Opinion Strategies found 54% of likely voters in Wisconsin would rather have a new person as their United States Senator. Independents have an even worse opinion of Feingold, 64% want a new Senator.

The poll also confirmed a recent Rasmussen survey and puts Terrence Wall within “striking distance” of Feingold. Sixty-eight percent of likely voters believe the country is off on the wrong track.

The poll also showed more undecided voters have a negative opinion of Feingold than a positive one.

Our Campaign Manager Ryan Murray issued the following statement regarding the poll:

‘This poll confirms voters are on to Russ Feingold’s charade of voting one way in Washington and acting a different way in Wisconsin. They want a Senator that Wisconsin can count on, not one Washington can count on.

They are tired of career politicians like Russ Feingold spending money we don’t have. They don’t want government run health care. Most of all they want jobs. After 28 years in politics, voters know Russ isn’t listening anymore.

It’s clear they want a career job creator like Terrence Wall.

This poll is encouraging, but the election is a long way away. Terrence Wall will continue to make his case as the candidate who will really listen to Wisconsin’s needs.’”

He has the greatest attribute that a president can have.
“”I’ll give you as Shermanesque a quote as I can,” said Ryan. “I am not going to run for president. I’m just not going to do it. My head’s not that big, and my kids are too small.””
He doesn’t want the job.

Just checked his bio and he’s not a lawyer.

That’s a GOOD thing.

Palin Favorite Paul Ryan Rules Out 2012 Run For President ABC News ^ | Feb. 9. 2010 | Teddy Davis

Hmmmm .... is this some weird attempt by Teddy Davis to imply that Gov. Palin was "selecting" Ryan as a Presidential candidate, and he rejected her "support"?

No he pulled the brat response. And said they would move on.
They weren’t there to discuss the budget.
