I like the way you handled it — letting him know that we have a new rule: “Thou shalt not support RINOs.” At the same time, “thin ice” means you know Kyle has built up respect over the years, the only reason you’re putting up with this at all.
Also to let Kyle think he has a chance to win my vote if he changes his tune.
If I tell him ‘no vote’ whateoever, he’ll feel he has nothing to gain by listening to me (he’s received a lot of correspondence from me over the years.. and I’ve gotten some back, too, for what its worth).
