I am the only person on the national stage who has given Mr. Jones the chance to tell his side of the story, to claim responsibility for the Compton Cookout. Mr. Jones disclosed on my program that he attempted to contact UCSD administration and the local San Diego news media to claim the event and was rebuffed at every turn. Clearly, the administration, the San Diego Union Tribune and the PC Mafia have their perpetrators, just like Mike Nifong did at Duke.

While they may wish that the template remain, I am confronting the PC Mafia. On my nationally syndicated radio program last evening, I interviewed professor Daniel Widener, a professor of African-American studies and radicalism at UCSD, and he attempted to turn this cookout into a chance to score cheap political points. I refused to let him push his agenda.

I'd say if they don't like the caricatures of Compton Cookout, then they should work extra hard to get their culture to change from promoting the image.

Nothing quite like having to hear blasting rap-crap about mo-fos and hos and see em walk around with the sag-pants. Yep really encourages one to think that's a well educated advancing and productive culture.

Thank you for posting this. I was getting ready to. Roger did a fantastic job in presenting Mr. Jones and the truth about the ‘Compton Cookout’. The event was organized by a black man! The media will likely never correct all their biased reporting on this event.

Here is the interview, WELL worth listening to. Mr. Jones is quite a character and more conservative than many right here. His message: STOP the race baiting!

His final statement in the interview with Roger was about ‘quotas’...his feeling is that a black man, any man should get where he wants on his own merit.

BTW, Roger Hedgecock is one of the best. He actually goes in detail about issues, explains situations so even a novice can understand it. Roger had a University spokeman on the show, who after hearing Jones, STILL insisted it was a ‘racist’ event and his job is to stop bigotry.
