Good to hear it hasn't been a disaster; I've been quickly reviewing this thread to get a sense of what has occurred because I have been unable to watch (and not sure I'd want to).

I'm curious whether you or anyone else here has seen any evidence of Obama's use of the Delphi Method. This is a facilitation strategy by which an individual leads a discussion group but does so with a purposeful and often disguised agenda. He acts as a neutral arbiter in superficial respects, but actually directs the flow of the conversation - and the conclusions ultimately reached - by group participants through subtle (and sometimes not so techniques).

One of these is something I've seen Obama do on a number of occasions - treating a question or concern as an attack on the group (a triangulation technique). I'm just professionally curious as one who acts as a business process facilitator, but a truly neutral one (I hope).
