Actually I think they are doing fine. Dems are telling their anecdotal stories, the Republicans are picking their bill apart and emphasizing COST. We're doing good.
Nixon won the debate against Kennedy too- didnt help much though. Same thing here. There is no way to win this. Obama makes the rules, cuts them off, tells them what they can talk about... it is BAD.

The "target" in the Delphi process CANNOT WIN. The entire process is designed to destroy the target.
Not only that, this meeting, which never should have been allowed to take place, erases at one stroke the delicately designed structure of an Executive and bicameral Legislative Branch. These people should not be in the same room with each other, and they should not be discussing each other's business.
If this method is ever repeated, it will be a revolutionary transformation of the government, if the damage is not already done.
